About Transvaal Abrasives
The company was started in January 1997 in a 50sq mt building in Rosettenville. Today, through a property holding company, owns its own premises on a 1500 sq mt site in Booysens, Johannesburg. The 3 buildings on the site have a total area of 950 sq. mts, all occupied by the company and its associated companies.
 

The group, since its inception, has had an average annual growth of 35%. The group today employs 28 people.

Transvaal Abrasives is the second largest 3M Industrial Abrasives Distributor in South Africa, imports abrasives from Europe and holds the sole South African distribution rights for Calfrex Abrasives (Italy), C.T.A. Abrasives (Italy), Molemab Abrasives (Italy) and S.L.F. Abrasives (Italy).

Through its associated companies also hold the South African distribution rights for Telesch air and electric tools and Dynabrade air and electric tools. A fully equipped workshop, with spares, is available to service and repair Telesch and Dyanbrade and other air and electric tools.
